COVID-19/ FULL CAPACITY MANUFACTURING OPERATIONS March 31, 2020

To Our Customers:

Klabin Fragrances is a manufacturer of aromatic chemical compounds. Some of these compounds are a material requirement for EPA and FDA registered cleaning and disinfecting products, including those which are specified to kill COVID-19, as well as Influenza and other viruses and bacteria. For this reason, Klabin is an essential manufacturing business as defined by Executive Order No. 107 (below), signed by Governor Murphy, and is operating at full capacity.

Manufacturing, industrial, logistics, ports, heavy construction, shipping, food production, food delivery, and other commercial operations may continue to operate, but they should also limit staff on site to the minimal number needed for essential operations.

To further comply with the order for responsible operations relating to workforce health and safety, Klabin has taken the following steps including those beyond CDC recommendations:

• Distancing of employees of at least 10’, indoors and out

• No shared work spaces

• Only employees inside the building- truckers, drivers, and other non-employees are restricted to outdoor areas for shipping and receiving. No other communications to take place in person within the building

• Disinfecting all doors, touch-points, bathrooms, kitchens, and other common areas with 100% alcohol every day

• Instructions provided to all employees to maintain these measures at all times and when not at work as much as possible

• Installation of UV-C lamps with PCO (photocatalytic oxidation) in all HVAC systems to reduce the spread of any airborne pathogens via the conditioned air

• Work at home orders for anyone who was known to be in contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19 until a negative test is confirmed
